SecuGen Hamster Pro 20 is a new ultra-compact, high image quality USB fingerprint reader that is FBI Certified as meeting FIPS 201 (PIV) and FAP 20 Mobile ID requirements. Featuring a low-profile and IP65 rated dust- and water-resistant design, the Hamster Pro 20 is built with the industry’s most rugged and advanced optical sensor using patented fingerprint technology. Device only. Software sold separately.

COMPATIBILITY

Fully tested with Windows 7 (both 32-bit and 64-bit), Windows 8/8.1 and Windows 10.

KEY FEATURES

  • REJECTS FAKE FINGERPRINTS – The SecuGen Hamster Pro 20 authenticates, identifies, verifies, and refuses spoofed fingerprints. The optical reader doesn’t accept any prints left behind.
  • CAPTURES EVERY TYPE OF FINGER – The compact optical fingerprint reader automatically detects your finger and scans high-quality fingerprints even if you have scarred fingers.
  • MEETS STQC AND FBI’S IMAGE QUALITY STANDARDS – It is FBI Certified and complies with FIPS 201 (PIV) and Mobile ID FAP 20 requirements. It is also STQC Certified and has met UIDAI, Aadhaar’s standards.
  • OFFERS SDK AT NO ADDITIONAL COST – SecuGen provides Software Developer’s Kit which enables the Hamster Pro 20 to integrate fingerprint registration/matching to any Linux, Windows, and Android apps.
  • PROVIDES A WATER-RESISTANT DESIGN – The low-profile Hamster Pro 20 has high resistance to moisture and water drops. It can still capture your fingerprint even if your fingers are clammy.
